I am concerned that when His Holiness does temporarily leave us, chaos will ensue, which could have terrible consequences for Tibetans. Sincerely speaking, I hope our present Administration has sound plans and programs to ensure smooth transition to bring the situation under control reasonably. If they do not have one, may be they should listen to those who have one. I call this a Demise Preparation to prevent all possible untoward consequences. This Administration has only two choices: · Why Demise Preparation 1. Because nobody is able to predict how long His Holiness will stay with us. 2. It is established already that the post demise scenario will be a chaotic and scary one. 3. What is wrong to have such plans and precautions? After all, it will affect everyone. 4. UNITY in exile is in a fragile state, demise could trigger explosive events. 5. To protect our common goal of an Independent Tibet. 6. Many elders and women are likely to feel the shock, prior preparation could help minimize the impact. 7. That the transition into the next life is assured smooth one. 8. It will safeguard our cause. What can individuals do about it? Personally, I feel the matter is highly serious and to tackle effectively, a comprehensive plan and program should be in place ahead of time. The event is explosive and repercussion can be devastating for the Tibetan cause. 1. Responsible and active individuals should start talking to all walks of life about such event. 2. One should remind others that it is important that His Holiness gets a smooth transition into the next life. 3. Remember that we have a mission and that is Independent Tibet. 4. Our Cause is not hopeless and let them know that International Community is behind us. 5. We must get ready to receive the next reincarnation. 6. Everyone must know that 49 days is crucial and we will devote only on smooth transitional rituals. 7. Remember that the fight with PRC is far from over and Independent Tibet is currently far from being achieved. |
